Monitoring of network devices is based on check_nwc plugin from https://labs.consol.de/nagios/check_nwc_health/.
To configure monitoring for any supported network devices you must install UPD00011 on your Site Controller.
Procedure
To enable monitoring of network devices perform the following task:
- Install UPD00011 via Update service
- Download command and services for NWC
- Review SNMP community in the services definition and make sure the one you are using has read permission on target device(s).
- [optional] Create a profile to group network devices together
- Create one endpoint for each network devices you need to monitor by specifying the management IP address
- Assign required checks to endpoints
